my back hurts
stop buying medicine from me
stop needing medicine from me
i’m just a kid
i’ll never have a career
i don’t know what i want
to be when i grow up
across the street
in the parking lot
cooks and waiters smoke
stray cats start families
and the grocery store next door
doesn’t work anymore
